This is an 'adventure'... a 'once in a lifetime' trip.. it will be a challenge and an amazing experience..
It will provide incredible memories and bring together two people from different generations with different life experiences on a journey together... because of one person they both loved - 'Trudy'
... this trip will be our tribute to her, whislt at the same time raise funds to help others who sadly find themselves in a similar situation..
The Epic Begins....
Alex and I will be partaking in a 'Women v Cancer' cycle ride - a mere 400km across Cuba. The funds raised will be divided equally between: Breast Cancer Care, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action.. some money will also be donated to help women fight cancer in Cuba....
So NOW all we need to do is ... get fit ... and raise £3,000 each.... Oh yes, and Alex will be losing weight too :-)

Only a pound :-)
Ok so its only a pound, but its a pound off :-) and to be fair I have had a hard couple of weeks so I am happy :-) only half a pound till I have lost a stone so I am elated :-)
